FAQ

GENERAL FAQ

Q: So how does all this work? I can get my car shot, now what?

A: EASY! Contact me to first setup a date / time / location of your shoot. You can pick the location, or I can offer some suggestions if you’d like. The time / location will play a big role in what kind of look are you going for. Looking for some rolling shots over the bridge? There’s a perfect time of day for that. Looking for an epic light painting shot? We want to choose our location carefully to make sure you get the EXACT style you are looking for.

Q: I only see cars on your site, do you also shoot (Insert random event or object needing photographed)?

A. ABSOLUTELY! While you may only see cars here, I’ve shot a wide variety of pictures. I’ve shot everything from corporate product shots, to real estate, family and dog photos, band photos, sporting events, models, and weddings…just to name a few. This site is solely dedicated to my automotive photography passion. If you’d like to see anything else, check out my other site www.dankinzie.com

Q: How long have you been into art and photography?

A: I picked up my first DSLR camera in 2007, and haven’t looked back since. My roommate in college (thanks Scott!) was who actually got me into automotive photography. I remember us looking at pictures on Honda-tech (yes, Honda-tech, don’t judge me) and wondering how people were getting these crazy images. Digital SLR’s were just coming out and I couldn’t get enough. Since then, I have shot hundreds of cars, taught classes to other photographers, been published in Forbes magazine, featured in Huffington Post a dozen times, and served hundreds of clients locally and all over the US / Canada

Q: How many pictures will I get? How long does it take to get back? Do I have to buy prints from you, do you even offer prints?

A: This one is a bit tricky to answer, as it depends on what your goals are for your session. Do you have some high quality for sale pictures to help bring maximum dollar to your car? Do you want large prints to hang all over your garage? Do you want an album to sit on your coffee table? Each goal will require a different amount of time and pictures.

Q: Have you ever shot at XYZ Location?

A: Probably! I’ve shot repeats of many locations but my favorite spot is by far a new one. It’s always nice to see a new location and have a fresh perspective. New alleys, fields, streets, bridges, and parking lots are a playground for pictures, and I always enjoy creating new looks at new sites.

Q: Why should I hire DKFX photography?

A: With over 10 years’ experience behind the camera shooting cars, you can rest assured you will get life lasting amazing images of your car in a timely manner. Don’t sell another car without having something to remember it by, we’ve all been there.

SO NOW WHAT?

Q: I want more info, what do I do now? Where do I start?

A: I would recommend sitting down and reading this blog post I wrote so you can better understand the unique styles I offer. This will help me better provide EXACTLY the look you are looking for!

So you want a photoshoot, now what?
